JERUSALEM, April 13 (Xinhua) -- The Israeli government company Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) will hold a festive flyover on the country's Independence Day to be celebrated on Thursday, according to a statement issued by the IAI on Tuesday.
The 2.5-hour flyover, under the theme of "Israeli fraternity", will begin at noon and pass over dozens of cities, towns and villages across the country.
This is the first time in 33 years for the IAI to hold a flyover on the Israeli Independence Day.
This year's flyover will feature Boeing aircraft which were converted by the IAI to cargo aircraft. The event will also include G280 business jets manufactured by the IAI.
It will take place alongside the Israeli Air Force's annual fighter jets flyover held every Independence Day.
